Meet the Team
Year 1
Hello, I’m Miss Wright.
I joined St Mary and St Giles Church of England School in 2010 as a class teacher. This year, I will be remaining in Key Stage 1 and teaching Year 1. I shall be teaching the children from Monday to Wednesday and am very much looking forward to guiding them through this important stage of their learning journey—helping them grow in confidence, build key skills, and develop a love of learning.
Hello! I’m Miss Berryman,
I will be teaching Year 1 on Thursdays and Fridays.
I have a passion for all sports and am proud to be the PE Lead at SMSG.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising and playing my guitar. I love climbing mountains and exploring forests—I think nature is truly amazing! After an adventurous day out, there’s nothing better than relaxing with some pizza and watching the Harry Potter movies.

Hello! I’m Ms Venturi,
I am the Year 2 teacher as well as the Science Lead at St Mary and St Giles Church of England School. I have been teaching at SMSG since 2013.
My favourite subjects to teach are Maths, English, and Science. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking and wild camping with my cockapoo, Matilda. I also like to start my day with an early morning gym workout before school.
