Meet the Team

Hello, I am Mrs Parkes and I have joined SMSG this academic year. I am really looking forward to getting to know all the staff and children. I have been a teacher for 12 years and my favourite subjects to teach are English and History. This year I will be teaching Year 1 and 2 but I have previously taught from Nursery through to Year 6.

In my spare time, I love to read and listen to music. I also enjoy going on days out with my family and pet dog, Henry.

Hi, my name is Mrs Asif. I am a Teaching Assistant who will be working with year 1 and 2. In my free time I love reading and going on long walks.

I'm excited about a year filled with learning, curiosity and fun!

I’m Miss Orozco and I am looking forward to working in Year 1 and 2 this year.

In my spare time I like to read, cook and exercise. At the moment however most of my time is spent with my puppy, Blue.

My name is Mr Virdee and I have been a teacher since 2016. I am passionate about making learning fun, imaginative and inspiring, and I really enjoy teaching primary school children.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, travelling, cooking and reading. I also support Arsenal FC and hope to see them win a long overdue Premier League title very soon!
