January 2021: Stony in Bloom and SMSG are delighted to be working together to create wonderful outdoor spaces for the enjoyment of the local community.

Growing HapPEAness - Pea-Growing Kits

To kick-start our partnership with Stony Stratford in Bloom we are delighted to be able to provide all children with a ‘pea-growing kit’, which includes everything needed to grow a pea plant at home.

• Follow the simple instructions with your child and together watch how a seed germinates and grows into a plant.
• The pea-growing kits will be given to children attending school to take home.
• Children who are remote learning can collect the kits from both sites on Friday 29th January and Friday 5th February between 1.15pm - 3pm at their year group gate.

With spring, and a new vegetable growing season fast approaching, SMSG and SSiB will be launching a new project to grow fruit and vegetables at school for a local food bank. Look out for details on how your child can be involved in the exciting project, whether they are learning at home or in school.
