Phonics - Letters and Sounds

Your child's teacher will do a phonics lesson in the live check in each morning. As we are passionate about every child being an individual learner it may be that the teacher asks your child to recap particular sounds. A teaching video for each one of these sounds is saved below.

The reading book that is in the children's home packs are appropriate for the level they are reading. Please remember to bring these back in every Friday with their packs.

Thank you for your continued support with phonics and reading.

TRICKY WORDS

Tricky words are words that cannot be sounded out phonetically. They are really important for children to learn by rote as they will use them frequently in their reading and writing.
