Outcomes:

Staff in school have a clear understanding of why RE is taught, they believe that RE in our school:

· Develops Children’s understanding of the school values

· Celebrates the points of view of others

· Celebrates the differences in other cultures

· Makes links between religious practices

· Allows children to appreciate and have an understanding of a multicultural world

· Challenges children to respond to ‘big’ questions about their own moral responsibilities

· Encourages children to have knowledge and respect for other people’s beliefs and values
